Dr. Warde is a renowned expert on the socio, political and economic subtelities of the Islamic world. His popular book "The Price of Fear: The Truth Behind the Financial War on Terror", has been widely aclaimed and translated in Japanese, Italian, French and Czech, while his authoritative work on Islamic Finance has taken the form of his widely popular book "Islamic Finance in the Global Economy". His other books include "Le modèle anglo-saxon en question" (Economica 1997) and "Mythologies américaines" (Editions du félin 1996). He is a graduate of France's Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), and of the University of California at Berkeley where he received his Ph.D. He has taught at the University of California (Berkeley, Davis, and Santa Cruz) and at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
